April 2018 - Present

Shortly after my role at Alterest, I secured a Data Scientist position at Connido Limited. Connido is developing an integrated wearable baby monitoring solution that offers data and evidence based support to parents with their day to day challenges

Data Science – Product at Alterest Limited

September 2017 - April 2018

Shortly after I set foot in London I was contacted by a firm that provides peer to peer lenders with advanced analytics. I’d like to describe this period as both challenging and rewarding as it was here where I learnt how to program professionally in python. I ended up automating the data cleaning and analytics pipelines, automating the data ingestion streams using Apache NiFi and built a small predictive analytics project.

Passion for a field can often lead you to some of the best destinations and what better way to spend a year of my life in London by pursuing a master’s degree in data science at the King’s College London.

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

2013 - 2017

After what I can describe as one of the most difficult challenges that I have ever faced in life, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from the Ramaiah Institute of Technology with a distinction.

Launched LinearData

When I realized that electrical engineering was not for me I tried exploring different career paths and data science was the perfect fit! I launched LinearData as a way to help me learn data science by condensing everything I learnt into short 1000 word guides with in-built reproducible code. Seems like that worked and the blog now has over 23,000 unique hits!

29 Mar

The strategy here is fairly simple. 2 sessions a day. 1 session is devoted to learning the concepts of math while the other session is used to practice 5 sums in a particular topic. We then review and make…

The strategy here is a little more complex. This is split into 3 days of Cardio (7.5 miles of running on each day) and 3 days of lifting weights (Arms, Shoulders and Back). The exercise is the easy part…

29 Mar

One of the simpler goals. The strategy here is to write one chapter a week until June and after which you write 1 article on LinearData every week. Milestones:

29 Mar

The strategy is quite simple. 14 sessions of data science a day – This includes a combination of data science executed at work, going through the lecture slides, coursework, labs and the dissertation. Milestones:

29 Mar

The strategy to get a full time follows the law of averages. We try to maximize our chances to get a job by knocking on as many doors as we can in the fastest time possible. This in combination…
